Hammerless Shotgun -
Serial no. 71689, 12gauge,
28 1/2 inch solid rib bbl., blue/casehardenedfinish, checkered
walnut stock. Manufactured in London circa early tomid 1900s. Features
ivory/brass double beaded sights ona select grade straight grip checkered walnut stock,
automatic ejectors,basket weave hard rubber buttplate and silver oval initial plate.Chambered
for 2 1/2 inch shells choked modified/improvedmodified. There is a 1 1/2 inch repaired crackextending
from the upper tang. CONDITION RATING: OE B) EngravedA.H. Fox A Grade Side by Side Hammerless
Shotgun- Serial no. 21173, 12 gauge, 26 inch solid ribbbl., blue/casehardened finish, checkered walnut
stock. Manufactured from 1905to 1942, with standard markings and features. Chambered for 23/4 inch
shells choked modified and improved modified. Theleft side of the barrel has an area of minorpitting that
has been covered over; the stock has beenrevarnished and there is a chip in the toe ofthe stock/buttplate.
